Read the video board of Hot Spot Treasure, Douyin's own trend tool: the overall board, or the boards for highest follower growth or highest like rate, over the last hour, day, 3 days or 7 days. Each work has plays, likes, like rate, followers gained, follower-growth rate, heat score and author followers, highest heat first. Up to 50 per page; Douyin filters some works out, so pages often come back shorter and a short page is not the end. Rows carry no rank.
Price $0.81 per 1,000 requests ($0.000806 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Douyin Hot video board endpoint (douyin/billboard_video_hot).
How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to douyin and action to billboard_video_hot, and put the parameters inside params.
- No required parameters.
- Optional parameters:
- board: Board for billboard_video_hot: all (default) is the overall board, follower_growth the board for works that gained the most followers relative to plays, and like_rate the board for the highest like rate. (allowed: all / follower_growth / like_rate)
- keyword: Optional: keep only works related to this word, such as food; leave it out for the whole board.
- page_token: Page token. Leave it out for the first page, then pass back the previous response's next_page_token exactly as received, with the other parameters unchanged. Each page holds up to 50 works and is one call.
- time_window: Time window: 1h (last hour), 1d (last 24 hours, default), 3d or 7d. (allowed: 1d / 1h / 3d / 7d)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, text, media_type (Media type: video, or image for image p…), image_count (Number of images in an image post (Hot…), cover_image_url (Video or image-post cover thumbnail URL…), video_url (Video playback URL (signed, expires), duration_seconds, duration_sec (Video length in seconds), author_name, author_avatar_url (Author avatar image URL: the creator on…), author_follower_count; 20 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=douyin.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "douyin",
"action": "billboard_video_hot",
"params": {}
}
- Price: $0.81 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | douyin | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | billboard_video_hot | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
board | body.params | string (enum) | No | - | Board for billboard_video_hot: all (default) is the overall board, follower_growth the board for works that gained the most followers relative to plays, and like_rate the board for the highest like rate.Allowed valuesallfollower_growthlike_rate |
keyword | body.params | string | No | - | Optional: keep only works related to this word, such as food; leave it out for the whole board. |
page_token | body.params | string | No | - | Page token. Leave it out for the first page, then pass back the previous response's next_page_token exactly as received, with the other parameters unchanged. Each page holds up to 50 works and is one call; Douyin filters some works out, so a page often holds fewer than 50 and a short page is not the end. Tokens last 24 hours; the last page has no next_page_token (about 1,000 works per board at most). |
time_window | body.params | string (enum) | No | - | Time window: 1h (last hour), 1d (last 24 hours, default), 3d or 7d.Allowed values1d1h3d7d |

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
media_type | Media type: video, or image for image posts. |
image_count | Number of images in an image post (Hot Spot Treasure video boards; only when media_type is image). |
cover_image_url | Video or image-post cover thumbnail URL (search / user_posts rows). |
video_url | Video playback URL (signed, expires; download promptly if you need to keep it). Null for image posts or when the source omits it. |
duration_seconds | Duration in seconds. null for content that is not video or audio. |
duration_sec | Video length in seconds. |
author_name | Author's display name. |
author_avatar_url | Author avatar image URL: the creator on search, user_posts and video rows, the commenter on comments rows. |
author_follower_count | Author's follower count. null means not disclosed. |
play_count | Play count. On the Hot Spot Treasure video boards (billboard_video_hot, billboard_low_fan_explosion, billboard_high_completion) it is Douyin's own play figure. Elsewhere Douyin does not publish play counts, so the value (usually 0) never reflects real plays; judge reach by likes, comments and shares. |
like_count | Likes. null means the platform or this capability does not disclose it; it is not 0. |
like_rate | Like rate on the Hot Spot Treasure video boards: like_count divided by play_count, as a decimal (0.0118 means 1.18%). |
new_follower_count | Followers the work brought in (Hot Spot Treasure video boards). |
follower_growth_rate | Follower-growth rate on the Hot Spot Treasure video boards: Douyin's own decimal, roughly new_follower_count divided by play_count. |
hot_value | Heat value, Douyin's own measure, comparable only within one board and window: on trending, the heat of the entry (often empty on the hotspot board); on the Hot Spot Treasure video boards, the board's heat score, rows ordered highest first; on billboard_search_hot, the term's search heat in the window. |
posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
next_page_token | Page token (search / user_posts / comments / comment_replies / billboard_video_hot / billboard_low_fan_explosion / billboard_high_completion / billboard_account_search / music_search): pass it back unchanged as page_token to fetch the next page, keeping the other parameters the same; valid for 24 hours. Every row of a page carries the same value, which also appears at the top level of the response. Absent on the last page. Comment pages walk all top-level comments page by page. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
