Polymarket API
Polymarket is an on-chain prediction market. markets and events search its markets and events by title keyword and sort order; trades lists the latest on-chain trades of one market.
An event groups related markets; each market has outcomes whose price runs from 0 to 1 and reads as the market-implied probability, and a resolved market names its winning_outcome. Pass a market's slug or condition_id from a markets row to trades.

- 03Read the result from the response. For an asynchronous action, poll the returned job ID.

Polymarket API questions
What can I retrieve with the Polymarket API?
Set platform to polymarket. The current catalog lists markets, events, and trades. These action names identify different Polymarket objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.
Which input starts the Polymarket markets request?
The markets action has no required business input. Send the platform and action identifiers, plus only the optional parameters you need.
Which fields can Polymarket markets return?
Its declared schema includes condition_id, slug, title, and description. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.
Does every Polymarket action return immediately?
Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
