Google Trends API

Google Trends shows how search interest in a term changes over time. interest_over_time compares up to 5 keywords and returns one row per point in time with a 0 to 100 interest value for each keyword.

Values are relative: 100 is the highest point for any keyword in the query, so results change when you add or remove a keyword. Low-volume terms show as 0. Points are weekly for a year, daily for 30 or 90 days, and hourly or by minutes for a day or a week; time gives the exact start. The last point is often still being counted (partial).

What does each Google Trends action accept?

Each answer below pairs one callable action with its real inputs. Parameter meanings and allowed values are action-specific; a familiar name does not carry the same meaning across every platform.

Official sources are linked only to clarify the platform term beside them. They do not imply platform authorization or endorsement, and features of the official site are not part of the EveryInfra API unless this page lists them.

Google Trends API questions

What can I retrieve with the Google Trends API?

Set platform to google_trends. The current catalog lists search interest over time. These action names identify different Google Trends objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.

Which input starts the Google Trends interest_over_time request?

A list of 1 to 5 search terms to compare, such as ["openai", "anthropic"]. Each term is at most 80 characters and 10 words. Send it as keywords inside params.

Which fields can Google Trends interest_over_time return?

Its declared schema includes time, date_from, date_to, and values. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.

Does every Google Trends action return immediately?

Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
