Google News API
Google News collects articles from news publishers. search returns up to 20 recent articles for a query with title, link, publisher, snippet, publish time and image.
Results follow the edition set by country and language (default us and en). Limit the age of articles with time_window. The keyword accepts Google search operators such as site:cnn.com, OR and -word. A call costs the same for 1 or 20 articles, and Google News sometimes returns fewer than asked.

Search Google News by keyword and get up to 20 articles with title, link, publisher, snippet, publish time and image. Narrow by country, language and time_window (hour, day, week, month or year). Search operators such as site:, OR and - work in the keyword.

What can I retrieve with the Google News API?
Set platform to google_news. The current catalog lists search. These action names identify different Google News objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.
Which input starts the Google News search request?
The news search term, such as OpenAI. Google operators work: site:cnn.com, OR, and -word to exclude a word. Up to 500 characters. Send it as keyword inside params.
Which fields can Google News search return?
Its declared schema includes rank, title, source, and text. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.
Does every Google News action return immediately?
Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
