# Douyin Hot video board API (douyin.billboard_video_hot)

- Endpoint: POST /api/v1/social with {"platform": "douyin", "action": "billboard_video_hot", "params": {...}}
- Price: $0.000806 per call ($0.81 per 1,000 requests); failed and empty results are not charged
- Returns: list, one page of up to 50 per call; the number of rows varies from page to page and a short page is not the end (limit is ignored; pass the top-level next_page_token from the response as page_token for the next page; no next_page_token means the end)
- Pagination: pass next_page_token back as page_token for the next page, other params unchanged; one call per page, tokens last 24 hours
- Mode: sync; add "mode": "async" for slow tasks

| play_count | Play count. On the Hot Spot Treasure video boards (billboard_video_hot, billboard_low_fan_explosion, billboard_high_completion) it is Douyin's own play figure. Elsewhere Douyin does not publish play counts, so the value (usually 0) never reflects real plays; judge reach by likes, comments and shares. |

| like_rate | Like rate on the Hot Spot Treasure video boards: like_count divided by play_count, as a decimal (0.0118 means 1.18%). |

Every row of a page carries the same value, which also appears at the top level of the response. Absent on the last page. Comment pages walk all top-level comments page by page. |
