List the Google Play search keywords one Android app ranks for, from its package name in app_id. Each keyword has its search volume, the app's position in the results and when the figures were last updated, alongside the app's rating and price. US store only, and the total result count per keyword is not available. 20 keywords by default, up to 100.
Price $11.51 per 1,000 requests ($0.01151 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Google Play App keyword rankings endpoint (google_play/keywords_for_app).
How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to google_play and action to keywords_for_app, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- app_id: The Android package name, such as com.spotify.music, or the app's play.google.com link with ?id=. It is not an Apple numeric ID; anything that is not a package name is rejected before the call runs.
- Optional parameters:
- country: Storefront for keywords_for_app. Only the US store is covered: leave it out or pass us; any other country is rejected before the call runs.
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 100. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values are accepted and capped at the maximum. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: keyword (A search keyword the app ranks for (key…), search_volume (Search volume of the keyword on Google…), search_rank (The app's position in that keyword's Go…), search_result_count (Not available for Google Play (keywords…), ranked_at (When the rank and search volume for thi…), app_id, title, url, icon_url, developer, rating, rating_scale; 17 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=google_play.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "google_play",
"action": "keywords_for_app",
"params": {
"app_id": "com.whatsapp"
}
}
- Price: $11.51 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
keyword | A search keyword the app ranks for (keywords_for_app). |
search_volume | Search volume of the keyword on Google Play in the US (keywords_for_app), demand for the whole keyword rather than traffic to this app. |
search_rank | The app's position in that keyword's Google Play search results, from 1 (keywords_for_app). |
search_result_count | Not available for Google Play (keywords_for_app); the field is absent. |
ranked_at | When the rank and search volume for this keyword were last updated, ISO 8601 (keywords_for_app). The data refreshes weekly to monthly, not in real time. |
app_id | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
icon_url | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
developer | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
rating | Rating. The scale varies by platform: rating_scale on the same row gives the maximum (usually 5; Booking, Douban, iQIYI and NAVER use 10). Convert with rating_scale before comparing across platforms, or the comparison can come out backwards. |
rating_scale | Maximum of rating in the same row: 5 for five-star scales, 10 for ten-point scales. Present only when the row has a rating. |
rating_count | Number of people who rated. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
is_free | Whether the app is free to download (keywords_for_app). |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
currency | Currency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency. |
total_keywords | How many keywords the app ranks for in total (keywords_for_app), the same on every row; limit only sets how many of them this call returns. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
