Search X (Twitter) accounts by keyword, as in the People tab: it matches usernames, display names and bios. Each account has bio, avatar, follower, following and post counts, verification and creation date. About 20 per page; page on with next_page_token. Posts are not returned.

Price $0.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.000556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra X (Twitter) User search endpoint (twitter/search_users).

How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to twitter and action to search_users, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - keyword: A topic, name or username to match accounts on, such as ai agents; it returns accounts, not posts.
- Optional parameters:
  - page_token: Page token for user_media, user_replies, retweeters, search_communities, community_posts and search_users. Leave it out for the first page, then pass back the previous response's next_page_token exactly as received.
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: next_page_token, id, username, url, name, text, avatar_url, follower_count, following_count, post_count, is_verified, created_at.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "twitter",
  "action": "search_users",
  "params": {
    "keyword": "coffee"
  }
}
- Price: $0.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Code samples

bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social' \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $EVERYINFRA_API_KEY" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{

OpenAPI definition (JSON)Samples read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable; copied code never contains your key.

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
next_page_tokenKeeps the platform's own meaning
idThe record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms.
usernameUsername (@handle).
urlLink to the record on the platform.
nameName of the object itself, for account, product and business capabilities.
textBody text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so).
avatar_urlAvatar image link. Some platforms return sized CDN links that can expire.
follower_countFollowers. null means not disclosed, not 0.
following_countAccounts followed. null means not disclosed, not 0.
post_countTotal posts. null means not disclosed, not 0.
is_verifiedWhether the platform verified the account. null means it cannot be determined.
created_atCreation time, same format as posted_at.
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).
