Search Google Shopping by keyword and get up to 100 products with price and crossed-out price, merchant, rating, review count, image and Google product ID. Set the market with country, filter by price range and sort by price or rating.

Price $0.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.000556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Google Shopping Search endpoint (google_shopping/search).

How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to google_shopping and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - keyword: The product search term, such as wireless earbuds.
- Optional parameters:
  - country: A two-letter country code such as us, gb or de for the Google Shopping market to search (default us). Prices are in that market's currency.
  - language: A two-letter language code such as en or de for titles and labels (default en).
  - max_price: The highest price to include; not below min_price.
  - min_price: The lowest price to include, in the currency of the country market; 0 or more.
  - sort: Sort order: price_low (price low to high), price_high (price high to low) or rating (best rated first). Leave it out for relevance.
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 100. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: rank, title, product_id (Google Shopping product ID (digits) tha…), offer_id, image_id, price_text (Price as displayed, with currency symbo…), price (The number parsed from price_text, in t…), old_price_text, old_price, merchant (The merchant whose offer this row shows), multiple_merchants (Whether more than one merchant sells th…), rating; 16 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=google_shopping.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "google_shopping",
  "action": "search",
  "params": {
    "keyword": "wireless earbuds"
  }
}
- Price: $0.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
rankKeeps the platform's own meaning
titleTitle. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts).
product_idGoogle Shopping product ID (digits) that groups every merchant offer for the same product; missing on a few rows.
offer_idKeeps the platform's own meaning
image_idKeeps the platform's own meaning
price_textPrice as displayed, with currency symbol and local formatting (such as $29.99).
priceThe number parsed from price_text, in the currency of the searched country; it carries no currency code.
old_price_textKeeps the platform's own meaning
old_priceKeeps the platform's own meaning
merchantThe merchant whose offer this row shows.
multiple_merchantsWhether more than one merchant sells this product.
ratingRating. The scale varies by platform: rating_scale on the same row gives the maximum (usually 5; Booking, Douban, iQIYI and NAVER use 10). Convert with rating_scale before comparing across platforms, or the comparison can come out backwards.
rating_scaleMaximum of rating in the same row: 5 for five-star scales, 10 for ten-point scales. Present only when the row has a rating.
review_countNumber of reviews, for product and business capabilities. null means not disclosed, not 0.
image_urlImage link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array.
urlLink to the record on the platform.
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

  • Google Merchant Center: Price and Sale Price in the Product Data Specification ↗

    Google Merchant Center's product data specification says merchants submit products with attributes such as title, price and an optional sale_price, and that Google uses this data to match products to searches. The source confirms only that Google Shopping prices come from merchant product data and distinguish a regular price from a sale price; this API's `min_price` and `max_price` filter results in the searched country's currency, are defined by EveryInfra, and the source does not vouch for the filter or result counts.
