Search Google News by keyword and get up to 20 articles with title, link, publisher, snippet, publish time and image. Narrow by country, language and time_window (hour, day, week, month or year). Search operators such as site:, OR and - work in the keyword.
Price $0.79 per 1,000 requests ($0.000792 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Google News Search endpoint (google_news/search).
How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to google_news and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- keyword: The news search term, such as OpenAI. Google operators work: site:cnn.com, OR, and -word to exclude a word. Up to 500 characters.
- Optional parameters:
- country: A two-letter country code such as us, gb or de for the Google News edition to search (default us).
- language: A two-letter language code such as en, es or de for the edition language (default en).
- time_window: Only articles from this period: hour, day, week, month or year. Leave it out for no time limit.
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 20. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: rank (Position of the article in this result…), title, url, source (Name of the publisher of the article, s…), text, published_at (When the article was published, UTC, IS…), image_url.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "google_news",
"action": "search",
"params": {
"keyword": "OpenAI"
}
}
- Price: $0.79 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
rank | Position of the article in this result list, starting at 1. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
source | Name of the publisher of the article, such as Reuters. |
text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
published_at | When the article was published, UTC, ISO 8601. |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |

- Google Search Help: Operators to Refine Searches ↗
Google Search Help describes operators such as `site:` to limit results to one site, `-` to exclude words and quotes for exact phrases, written with no space between the operator and the term. The source documents Google's search syntax only; that this API's `keyword` accepts these operators on Google News, and the `country`, `language` and `time_window` filters, are defined by EveryInfra, and the source does not vouch for results or counts.
