Read the price history of one token by contract address or coin id, with points every 5 minutes to every week, up to 500 points ending now.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Crypto Market Data Token price history endpoint (crypto_market/token_chart).

How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to crypto_market and action to token_chart, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - token: Tokens as chain:contract-address (such as ethereum:0xdac17f958d2ee523a2206206994597c13d831ec7) or coingecko:id (such as coingecko:bitcoin). token_price takes up to 20, comma-separated; token_chart takes exactly one.
- Optional parameters:
  - period: Spacing of token_chart points: 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 12h, 1d (default) or 1w. (allowed: 12h / 15m / 1d / 1h / 1w / 4h / 5m)
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 500. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 30)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: token (The token as written in the request (ch…), symbol (Token symbol, such as BTC or USDT), price_usd (Price in US dollars), price_at (Time of this price, ISO 8601 UTC), confidence (Price confidence from 0 to 1).
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "crypto_market",
  "action": "token_chart",
  "params": {
    "token": "coingecko:bitcoin"
  }
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
tokenThe token as written in the request (chain:contract-address or coingecko:id).
symbolToken symbol, such as BTC or USDT.
price_usdPrice in US dollars.
price_atTime of this price, ISO 8601 UTC.
confidencePrice confidence from 0 to 1; lower values mean less trading backs the price.
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
422
Invalid parameter name or value. Fix it using the suggestions in the error. No charge.
429
Per-minute request limit reached. Wait for Retry-After, then try again.
503
Could not complete. The held charge is returned to your balance. If the outcome is unknown, verify it before you retry.

  • ethereum.org: the ERC-20 token standard ↗

    The official Ethereum developer docs explain that an ERC-20 token is a contract deployed on chain and addressed by its contract address, which is what the chain:contract-address form in `token` refers to. Prices are aggregated from trading and are not part of this source.
