Find companies from a one-sentence description, optionally by country and headcount, with headquarters, headcount, revenue estimate, funding stage and rounds.

Price $3.19 per 1,000 requests ($0.003194 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Company Data Search endpoint (company_data/search).

How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to company_data and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - keyword: search: a one-sentence description of the companies to find, up to 500 characters, such as payment infrastructure companies in Ireland.
- Optional parameters:
  - country: Only companies headquartered in this country, as a two-letter code such as US, GB or IE (search).
  - employees_max: Maximum headcount for search.
  - employees_min: Minimum headcount for search; companies whose headcount range overlaps count.
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 10. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 10)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: name (Company or brand name, as the dataset w…), domain (The company's main domain, such as stri…), description (What the company does), organization_type (Organization type (search), such as pri…), operating_status (Operating status (search), such as acti…), industries (Industries (search)), founded_year (Year founded (search)), hq_country_code (Headquarters country, two-letter code (…), hq_region (Headquarters state or region (search)), hq_city (Headquarters city (search)), hq_street_address (Headquarters street address (search)), hq_postal_code (Headquarters postal code (search)); 22 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=company_data.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "company_data",
  "action": "search",
  "params": {
    "keyword": "payment infrastructure companies in Ireland"
  }
}
- Price: $3.19 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

  • ISO: ISO 3166 country codes ↗

    ISO's official page explains that ISO 3166-1 identifies countries with two-letter codes, which is what US, GB or IE in `country` mean. Where a company is headquartered comes from the returned data, not from this standard.
