Read one WeChat Channels video by its numeric object_id, as returned in user_posts rows. Get title, description, author, publish time, like, save, share and comment counts, duration, frame size, cover and a time-limited video file link with its decryption key. The file link expires in about a day.
Price $6.81 per 1,000 requests ($0.006806 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra WeChat Channels Video details endpoint (wechat_channels/video).
How the endpoint works:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to wechat_channels and action to video, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- object_id: The numeric ID of one WeChat Channels video for video, such as 15039881603147501275, taken from the id of a user_posts or video row. Search rows do not have it. Anything that is not digits is rejected before any charge.
- Returns one object. Main fields: id (Video ID (a digit string) on user_posts…), author_username (The author's WeChat Channels account ID…), author_name, title, description, posted_at, like_count, collect_count (Times the video was saved (user_posts /…), share_count, comment_count, duration_sec (Video length in seconds), duration_seconds; 17 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=wechat_channels.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "wechat_channels",
"action": "video",
"params": {
"object_id": "15039881603147501275"
}
}
- Price: $6.81 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | Video ID (a digit string) on user_posts and video rows; pass it as object_id to video. |
author_username | The author's WeChat Channels account ID, v2_...@finder (user_posts / video); pass it as username to user_posts. |
author_name | Author's display name. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
description | Summary or description, usually shorter than text. |
posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
like_count | Likes. null means the platform or this capability does not disclose it; it is not 0. |
collect_count | Times the video was saved (user_posts / video). |
share_count | Shares. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
comment_count | Comments. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
duration_sec | Video length in seconds. |
duration_seconds | Duration in seconds. null for content that is not video or audio. |
video_width | Video frame width in pixels. |
video_height | Video frame height in pixels. |
cover_url | Cover image URL (signed, expires). |
video_url | Video file URL (user_posts / video; signed, valid for about 24 hours). The start of the file is encrypted, so a direct download does not play until it is decrypted with video_decode_key. |
video_decode_key | Key for decrypting the encrypted start of the video file (user_posts / video); it belongs to that video_url. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |

- WeChat Open Docs: feedId, the Unique ID of a Channels Video ↗
WeChat's developer docs say a Mini Program opens a Channels video by its feedId, which the author copies from the Channels assistant. The source confirms only that every Channels video has its own unique ID; this API's object_id is a different, all-digit form taken from user_posts or video rows and cannot be swapped with a feedId.
