TikHub Douyin API Alternative: 37 Douyin Endpoints, Priced One by One

A Douyin API alternative to TikHub, priced line by line: Douyin search costs $1.00-$1.67 per 1,000 results there and $0.156 in our live test. 37 endpoints.

Illustration: on the left, a large gray card cabinet full of hundreds of identical small drawers. A few drawers carry small locks, and a row of heavier long drawers sits on top, next to a pile of gray coins. On the right, a light tray with a teal edge holds two neat bundles of video cards and comment bubble cards. One teal coin sits on each bundle. A dashed line and a small balance scale sit between the two sides. The idea: the same Douyin data, priced endpoint by endpoint on one side and by the full page on the other.

On TikHub, one Douyin search call costs $0.01 and returns about 6 to 10 videos. So 1,000 search results cost $1.00 to $1.67. On November 2, 2026, we ran the same kind of search through EveryInfra and paid $0.156 per 1,000 results. We then matched all 37 Douyin capabilities in our catalog with the closest documented TikHub endpoint. Per request, we cost less on 30, TikHub costs less on 4, and 3 have no TikHub match.

Douyin is the Chinese sister app of TikTok, with its own accounts, search and creator marketplace. Teams that sell into China or study Chinese consumers need Douyin data, not TikTok data. That need is behind searches for "douyin api" and "douyin api alternative". This article compares the two per-call APIs that return public Douyin data on demand: TikHub and EveryInfra. A later section covers the official Douyin Open Platform and open-source code.

How we compared, and the 19 live calls

Both services bill per request, but the rows per request differ a lot. Our Douyin search returns up to 50 videos per page. TikHub's FAQ says its Douyin search returns about 6 to 10 results per call. So we give two prices. The price per 1,000 requests compares the unit prices. The price per 1,000 results divides the money we paid by the rows we got.

Illustration: two ways to collect the same 100 video cards. On the left, a narrow chute drops a small handful of cards at a time, and each drop pushes one gray coin into a slot. A long row of eight gray coins sits next to it. On the right, a wide scoop lifts a thick stack of cards into the same kind of tray, with only three teal coins next to it. Both trays hold cards of the same height. The idea: when each request returns a different number of rows, the same data needs a very different number of paid calls.
With per-request billing, the unit price is half of the story. The other half is how many rows each request returns.

We read TikHub's public price list endpoint, openapi.json, pricing page, FAQ and Douyin API page. We read them on November 2, 2026, at 00:13 SGT. We did not sign up for TikHub or call its paid endpoints, so each TikHub number is a list price, not an invoice. Each EveryInfra number is the billing.charged_usd field of a live call on the same day. The table lists all 19 calls.

The Douyin API choice in one table

The table below lists each item that shows up on a bill. The TikHub column uses public material read on November 2, 2026, at 00:13 SGT. The EveryInfra column uses our capability catalog and the live calls above.

Two rows matter most for Douyin. The first is search, which is the entry point for most Douyin work. TikHub sells it on its own line at $0.01 per call with no discount. The second is the billing rule. TikHub bills every status-200 call, and its FAQ says Douyin video endpoints sometimes return status 200 with no content. With us, a "200 but empty" result refunds the reserved amount, as two calls below show.

The tikhub douyin api price list: 413 rows, counted one by one

TikHub's price list is at /api/v1/tikhub/user/get_all_endpoints_info. Its docs page says that a Bearer token is required. On November 2, 2026, at 00:13:27 SGT, we sent a plain GET with no key. We got status 200 and 1,472 rows. One day earlier, our pricing article saved 1,470 rows. So the list changes daily, and our numbers are for November 2 only.

Screenshot of a real response from TikHub's public price list endpoint. At the top: GET https://api.tikhub.io/api/v1/tikhub/user/get_all_endpoints_info, no API key sent, read 2026-11-02 00:13:27 SGT. Below: 200 OK, 1,472 rows, 413 of them Douyin, with three Douyin rows shown. The search line endpoint fetch_video_search_v1 costs 0.01 with no discount. The App V3 endpoint fetch_video_search_result costs 0.001 with no discount. The Xingtu endpoint kol_service_price_v1 costs 0.02 with no discount. The prices and the discount flags are boxed in teal.

We grouped the 413 Douyin rows by the fifth path segment, which gives 10 series. Douyin is 28.1% of all TikHub rows, the largest platform on TikHub. Its MCP page also lists Douyin first, with 247 tools. We then compared the list with the openapi.json of the same moment, version V5.3.2. Of 412 unique Douyin endpoints, 318 are in the docs and 94 are only in the price list. Most of the 94 look like old or retired versions.

The FAQ says only the 30-endpoint search line works for search, at $0.01 per call with no discount.

The ten series have very different prices and rules. The price, discount and free-credit columns below come from the endpoint_cost, allow_discount and allow_free_credit fields.

Three rows need a closer look. Xingtu V1 has a median of $0.02, which is 20 times the entry price. Each kol endpoint in its docs says that it uses a business account and costs more, for example KOL data overview V1. Creator V2 reads the back office of the caller's own account and needs that account's login cookie. So it is not public data, and we have nothing to compare it with. The discount sits mostly in Billboard, App and Web, which hold 133 of the 156 discounted rows.

Column chart of TikHub's 413 Douyin rows in 5 price bands. $0.001: 307 endpoints. $0.0015 to $0.005: 46. $0.01: 32, in teal. $0.02 to $0.05: 25. $0.15 to $0.25: 3. Subtitle: median $0.001, mean $0.0049. The teal column is the $0.01 band, where the search line sits.

By price band, 307 of the 413 rows (74.3%) cost exactly $0.001, and 60 rows cost $0.01 or more. The top three are batch play-URL requests at $0.25 and a batch profile request at $0.15. The median is $0.001, but the mean is $0.0049. If you pull only comments, profiles and charts, "from $0.001" is close to the real price. If your work is mostly search and Xingtu, most calls cost $0.01 or $0.02.

Why Douyin search costs more on TikHub

The price list also shows search rows in the App and Web series at $0.001 or $0.002. We counted 24 of them, and none is in the public docs. The FAQ answer "Why is Douyin search priced differently?" explains why. It says the App V3 and Web search endpoints are not functional and should not be used. Douyin search runs on a dedicated line at $0.01 per call, with no discount, because it costs more to run.

So every TikHub search number here uses the dedicated line. On that line, 29 of 30 endpoints cost $0.01, and only user search V2 costs $0.001. None gets the discount, and one accepts free credit. The FAQ says Douyin search returns about 6 to 10 results per call. So 1,000 results take 100 to 167 calls and cost $1.00 to $1.67.

One fact here does not help us, so we state it early. Our douyin/search is not in our base price band either. It costs $0.008333 per page, or $8.33 per 1,000 requests, since October 28, 2026. Per request, the gap is only 1.2 times. The real gap comes from page size, because we return up to 50 rows per page. The catalog now also has page_token, so you can walk one keyword page by page.

37 Douyin capabilities, side by side: price per request

The large table below took the most work. On the left are our 37 Douyin capabilities, read on November 2, 2026, at 00:13 SGT. On the right is the cheapest documented TikHub endpoint that does the same job. We always use the dedicated search line, and product detail is the one marked exception to the docs rule. We matched by name and by purpose in the docs, so the returned fields are not the same. The ratio is the TikHub price divided by ours, so above 1 means we cost less.

The count is 30 lower on our side, 4 lower on TikHub and 3 with no match. We counted the 30 ratios row by row: 1.8 for 10 capabilities, 1.24 for 9 and 1.25 for 5. Three are at 3.6, and 36, 3.75 and 1.2 have one each. Our catalog has 16 capabilities at $0.000556. Two of them have no TikHub match, and 4 are Xingtu jobs with higher TikHub prices. So only 10 sit at 1.8.

Those gaps are small. For most basic Douyin data, the per-call price is in the same range on both sides. The big gaps are in Xingtu, where the rate card differs by 36 times, and in list data with many rows per call.

Horizontal bar chart on a log scale. 34 Douyin capabilities that have a TikHub match, one bar each, show how many times the TikHub price is of our price. The longest is xingtu_rate_card at 36.0 times. product_detail is 3.8 times. xingtu_creator_rankings, xingtu_creator_analytics and xingtu_creator_search are 3.6 times each. 10 capabilities are 1.8 times, 5 are 1.25 times, 9 are 1.24 times, and search is 1.2 times. Four dark gray bars point left, where TikHub costs less: hashtag_search 0.64 times, xingtu_link_structure 0.25 times, xingtu_touch_distribution 0.12 times and hashtag_detail 0.06 times. A dashed line marks 1 times.

The four jobs where TikHub costs less deserve a plain statement. Hashtag detail is $0.001 on TikHub and $0.015556 with us, 15.6 times more. Hashtag search is $0.01 against our $0.015556. Xingtu link structure and touch distribution cost $0.004 and $0.002 on TikHub, against our $0.016 each. For hashtag research, or touch data for many creators, use TikHub for those jobs.

Of the three jobs with no match, we have speech-to-text transcripts. TikHub has a $0.0015 AI video summary, which is not a transcript. We also have product search and live product search. TikHub's FAQ says Douyin has no shop or product endpoints. Its Douyin page claims full e-commerce listings, and its price list has 5 undocumented product rows. We follow the FAQ and count no usable match.

Live test 1: video search, 107 results, $0.156 per 1,000

At 00:15:55 SGT, we called douyin/search for the Chinese keyword that means "air fryer". We set limit to 50 and sent an empty page_token to start at page one. After 87 seconds we got 54 rows and a next_page_token, for $0.008333. At 00:17:31 SGT we sent the token back and got 53 more rows after 25 seconds. The two pages held 107 unique videos for $0.016666, or $0.156 per 1,000.

Screenshot of a real EveryInfra API response. At the top: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social. The request body has platform douyin, action search, the keyword as four JSON unicode escapes, limit 50 and an empty page_token. Time 2026-11-02 00:15:55 SGT. Author fields and balance are omitted, and non-ASCII text shows as JSON escapes. Below: 200 OK in 87 seconds. The response has count 54, a cut next_page_token and 2 of the results, each with video ID, cut text, likes of 9475 and 33508, comments of 247 and 2092, and the post time. Last is billing with charged_usd 0.008333. Count and charged_usd are boxed in teal.
Page one of a real `douyin/search` response. Two rows are shown, author fields are omitted, and non-ASCII text shows as JSON escapes. Captured November 2, 2026, 00:15 Singapore time. Screenshot of an EveryInfra API response

On TikHub, 107 rows at 6 to 10 per call take 11 to 18 calls, or $0.11 to $0.18. That is $1.00 to $1.67 per 1,000, or 6.4 to 10.7 times our price. Note that our price is a flat $0.008333 per page. At 10 rows per page, you pay $0.833 per 1,000, and the gap falls to 1.2 to 2.0 times. Douyin search can also be slow. For batch jobs, set the timeout above 120 seconds, or add "mode":"async" and poll the job.

The top three results were air fryer reviews. The first, posted on September 14, asked how to choose an air fryer for the 2026 Double 11 sale. The second reviewed 50 models and had 33,508 likes and 2,092 comments. Of the 107 videos, 33 were posted after September 1, and 14 after the Double 11 campaign began on October 15. The most-liked result was a 2022 recipe list with about 1.98 million likes. So for sale-season monitoring, add sort=newest to skip old, popular posts.

Live test 2: comments, 78 rows in one call

The top two reviews came from the same creator, and we used the 50-model video for comments. At 00:21:04 SGT, we called douyin/comments with limit 100 and no page_token. After 46 seconds we got 78 rows. Comments bill per 20 rows, so 78 rows count as 4 units. We paid $0.002222, and the fifth reserved unit came back at once. That is $0.0285 per 1,000 comments.

We also tried paging. At 00:18:25 SGT, an empty page_token returned 20 rows for 1 unit, and 2 reserved units came back. At 00:20:56 SGT, page two returned 11 rows. With paging, Douyin sets the page size. Paging fits a job that must collect every top-level comment and resume later. Both ways bill only for the rows that come back.

TikHub's App V3 comments endpoint costs $0.001 per call. Its docs page sets count to 20 and asks users to keep that default. The FAQ says comment calls should ask for 30 rows or fewer. So 1,000 comments take 34 to 50 calls and cost $0.034 to $0.05, or 1.2 to 1.8 times our price.

This is the closest gap in the article, and TikHub's comments endpoint gets the daily discount. At 30 rows per call, TikHub costs less than us above 10,323 calls per day, about 310,000 comments. At 20 rows per call, the break-even is 94,286 calls per day. We worked out both numbers from the tier table in TikHub's FAQ. A team that pulls hundreds of thousands of comments per day can pay less on TikHub.

Live test 3: account posts, and why paging matters

At 00:18:32 SGT, douyin/profile returned 4,881 followers, 39 posts and 213,125 likes for $0.000556. At 00:18:40 SGT, douyin/user_posts with no page_token waited 99 seconds and returned only 20 rows. Its stop_reason said end_of_list. That is a trap, because the account had 39 posts.

At 00:24:16 SGT we sent an empty page_token and got 21 rows and a token. At 00:25:31 SGT page two gave 18 rows, and this time the list really ended. The two pages held all 39 posts for $0.001112, or $0.0285 per 1,000. So, to get every post from an account, use page_token. We plan to add this note to the capability page.

TikHub's App V3 posts endpoint costs $0.001 and returns 20 rows by default. So 1,000 posts cost $0.05, or 1.8 times our price. Its FAQ says the App V3 profile does not reliably return follower counts, and points to the Web profile at the same price. We saw a similar issue. Our transcript response showed a rounded 4,000 followers, while douyin/profile showed 4,881. For exact follower counts, use the profile call.

Live test 4: hot lists and video charts

All 31 TikHub Billboard endpoints cost $0.001, get the discount and accept free credit. On our side, at 00:21:56 SGT, douyin/trending returned 50 hot topics for $0.000556. At 00:22:03 SGT, douyin/billboard_video_hot returned 46 videos from the 24-hour chart for $0.000806. That is $0.0175 per 1,000 rows.

Each chart row had a play_count, from about 174,000 to 37.2 million plays. Douyin search and post data do not show play counts, and our field notes say that view_count is usually missing or 0. So a chart is one of the few places where you can see real plays.

TikHub's video chart docs set a default page size of 10 and give no maximum. At 10 rows per call, 1,000 rows cost $0.10, or 5.7 times our price. If its page_size accepts 50, the cost is $0.02, only 1.1 times ours. We did not call its endpoint, so we give both ends. TikHub also has more charts, such as city charts, a trend calendar and comment hot words, which we do not have.

Live test 5: Xingtu rate cards in the search results

Xingtu is Douyin's official creator marketplace, where brands check prices and audiences before they book a video. At 00:22:11 SGT, douyin/xingtu_creator_search returned 20 creators for $0.000556. Each row had followers, 30-day engagement, expected plays, a commercial index and two price bands. Four of the 20 creators had prices. We hide their names, and the prices are Xingtu list prices in CNY.

Followers30-day engagementExpected playsCommercial index20-60 s videoOver 60 s video

Price does not follow followers in a straight line. The second creator has less than half the followers of the third, but asks two thirds of the price. The first creator has the top commercial index and the lowest price. So compare price with expected plays, not with followers alone. One $0.000556 call gave 4 rate cards, or $0.000139 per rate card.

At 00:22:22 SGT, douyin/xingtu_rate_card for the small reviewer returned an empty result. The reason was empty_result_refunded, and charged_usd was 0. On TikHub, one rate card takes two calls. A kolId lookup costs $0.001, and kol_service_price_v1 costs $0.02, so one creator costs $0.021. Per rate card, the gap is 38 to 151 times, the largest in this article.

Live test 6: transcripts, which TikHub does not list

At 00:24:25 SGT, douyin/transcript read the top review, a 721-second video. After 36 seconds it returned 5,597 characters in 474 time-stamped segments, for $0.000556. The reviewer ranks a dozen air fryer brands in five tiers, from bronze to master. A title gives you one line, but the transcript tells you what was said about each model.

TikHub's Douyin price list has no transcript endpoint. The nearest is the Web fetch_ai_video_summary at $0.0015, which returns a summary. The open-source Douyin_TikTok_Download_API lists offline speech-to-text, but you host it and supply the compute.

Failed calls and empty results: four calls with no data

TikHub's FAQ says it bills only status-200 calls, and failed calls are free. But it also bills a status-200 call with an empty result. The FAQ explains how to read the reason codes, such as copyright, deletion and private posts. The table compares the four calls where we got no data.

Part two: douyin/video with a deleted or missing video ID, 00:23:03 SGT, 200, charged_usd 0.0 and reason empty_result_refunded. Part three: douyin/search with no key, 00:24:09 SGT, 401 missing_key, retryable false, and next_steps that say Nothing was charged. The three 0.0 values are boxed in teal.
Three real responses with no data. Each shows `charged_usd` of 0. Captured November 2, 2026, 00:22 to 00:24 Singapore time. Screenshot of EveryInfra API responses

The 422 response listed the three allowed values: relevance, newest and most_liked. So a person or an AI agent can fix the next call from the error alone. Empty video results are common in real work, because of copyright limits, deleted posts and private posts. In a batch of old links, the share of empty results can be high. Under a "billed on 200" rule, they become real cost, and with us they cost nothing.

Per 1,000 results: four kinds of list data

Here are the four kinds of list data, priced per 1,000 results. Our side is live data. TikHub's side is its public price times the calls that 1,000 rows need, with its own public page sizes.

DataEveryInfra live (calls / rows / paid)EveryInfra per 1,000TikHub rows and priceTikHub per 1,000Ratio
Video search2 / 107 / $0.016666$0.1566-10 rows, $0.01$1.00-$1.676.4-10.7
Comments1 / 78 / $0.002222$0.028520-30 rows, $0.001$0.034-$0.051.2-1.8
Account posts2 / 39 / $0.001112$0.028520 rows, $0.001$0.051.8
Hot video chart1 / 46 / $0.000806$0.017510 rows, $0.001$0.105.7
Range dot chart. The x axis is the dollar price per 1,000 results on a log scale, from $0.01 to $10. Four rows. Video search: TikHub gray range $1.00 to $1.67, EveryInfra teal dot $0.156, a gap of 6.4 to 10.7 times. Comments: TikHub $0.034 to $0.05, EveryInfra $0.0285, 1.2 to 1.8 times. Account posts: TikHub $0.05, EveryInfra $0.0285, 1.8 times. Hot video chart: TikHub $0.10, EveryInfra $0.0175, 5.7 times.

Per request, the two sides differ by 1.2 to 1.8 times on most jobs. Rows per call then widen or narrow that gap. For search and charts, we return many rows per call and TikHub returns few, so the gap grows to 5.7 to 10.7 times. For comments and posts, page sizes are close, so the gap stays at 1.2 to 1.8 times. Check your kind of data and your page size before you look at unit prices.

A monthly Douyin API bill: one brand-monitoring job

Say a home appliance brand watches Douyin around the Double 11 sale. Each day it searches 20 keywords for 100 videos each, and pulls 200 comments from each of 50 videos. It also checks 100 profiles and reads the charts once per hour. Each month it checks Xingtu prices for 120 creators. We priced 30 days of request fees only, with TikHub's high and low page-size cases.

JobTikHub, 30 days (more / fewer rows)EveryInfra, 30 daysHow we counted
Search: 20 keywords x 100 rows a day$60.00 / $102.00$10.00TikHub 10-17 calls per keyword; us 2 pages

Profiles: 100 a day$3.00 / $3.00$1.67$0.001 vs $0.000556
Charts: once an hour$1.44 / $4.32$0.98TikHub 2-6 calls; us 2 calls
Xingtu prices: 120 a month$2.52 / $2.52$0.07$0.021 vs $0.000556 per creator
Total$77.46 / $126.84$21.063.7-6.0 times
Grouped horizontal bar chart of five monthly Douyin monitoring costs, three bars each: TikHub with more rows per call, TikHub with fewer rows per call, and EveryInfra. Search of 20 keywords at 100 rows a day: $60.00, $102.00, $10.00. Comments from 50 videos at 200 rows a day: $10.50, $15.00, $8.34. Profiles at 100 a day: $3.00, $3.00, $1.67. Charts once an hour: $1.44, $4.32, $0.98. Xingtu rate cards for 120 creators a month: $2.52, $2.52, $0.07. Title: one month of Douyin monitoring, TikHub $77.46 to $126.84, EveryInfra $21.06.

Search is 77% to 80% of the TikHub bill and 87% to 89% of the gap. If your job tracks only comments and profiles, with almost no search, those two rows cost $13.50 to $18.00 on TikHub. With us they cost $10.01, so the gap is 1.35 to 1.8 times, or $3.49 to $7.99 a month. TikHub also has two costs outside the table: a fee on each top-up, and a monthly plan above 10 calls per second. An Alipay top-up of $126.84 adds about $3.60. This job stays under the default rate and the first discount tier.

Douyin API alternative: the other routes

People who search "douyin api alternative" are often choosing for the first time. The table compares four routes with facts that you can check.

RouteData you getWhat you must doCost
Douyin Open PlatformThe signed-in user's own data; about 200 APIsApply per capability; review takes 5-7 working daysFree to join; daily free quotas
Open source on GitHubPublic videos, users, comments, live dataHost it and keep signatures workingServers and staff time
TikHub413 Douyin rows, with Xingtu, Index and creator back officeSign up, top up $5 or more$0.001-$0.25 per call
EveryInfra37 Douyin capabilities, with transcripts and productsCreate a key; one API and one MCP URLFrom $0.000556; failed calls free

The Douyin Open Platform is the only official route, but it serves apps that work for their own users. Its capability overview puts data access behind user consent. You first get a user token through login and authorization, and then read that user's own posts and fans. Its migration guide lists about 200 APIs. Its free quota FAQ gives 1,000 free video-list calls per day as an example.

So the official route fits a tool where creators manage their own accounts. It does not fit competitor research, keywords or other people's comments. A developer on its forum asked how to get comment data access for a business account. The answer pointed to the console, and the scope was still the developer's own authorized accounts.

The best-known open-source project is Douyin_TikTok_Download_API. On November 2 it had about 21,000 stars, an Apache-2.0 license and a last push on November 1, 2026. TikHub also has a Python SDK on PyPI. It is a client for the paid TikHub API, not a self-hosted option. The cost of open source is upkeep. A Reddit developer told users that Douyin had made its API impossible to use, so he paused Douyin support.

When TikHub is the better choice

Price is not the whole story. TikHub has several Douyin features that we do not have. The table lists them, so you can choose by your needs.

TikHub hasSize on TikHubWhat we have
Douyin Index: keyword heat, audiences, brand index51 endpointsNone
DOU+ promotion queries17 endpointsNone
More charts: city charts, trend calendar, comment hot words31 Billboard endpoints10 chart capabilities
Xingtu analysis78 endpoints in two series12 capabilities
Live rooms: info, gifts, replays, real-time messagesWeb endpointsLive product search only
Historical datasetsSee the TikHub FAQNone
Cheaper hashtag detail and two Xingtu analysis jobs$0.001-$0.004$0.015556-$0.016

The first reason to pick TikHub is breadth: 413 rows against our 37 capabilities. If your need falls on the Douyin Index, DOU+ or a rare chart, look at its price list first. The second reason is the four jobs where we cost more. The third is real-time live data, which we do not offer.

The fourth reason is comments at very high volume, above about 10,000 calls a day. The fifth is historical datasets, a product that TikHub has and we do not. For current data on one account, you still need an API. You can also combine the two. Use us for search, comments, rate cards, charts and transcripts. Use TikHub for the Index, live data, hashtag detail and the two Xingtu analysis jobs.

Compliance: public data and Chinese law

This section is not legal advice. It points to the Chinese laws that bear most on collecting public Douyin data. Ask a lawyer about your own case.

The revised Anti-Unfair Competition Law took effect on October 15, 2025. Article 13 bars a business from taking another business's lawful data by fraud or by breaking technical controls. See the full text on the CNIPA site. The market regulator issued an implementation notice in March 2026. The Shenzhen development commission stressed the platform-rules chapter before the law took effect.

The Network Data Security Management Regulations took effect on January 1, 2025. Article 18 says that users of automated collection tools must assess the impact on the service and must not disrupt it. See State Council Decree No. 790 and the justice ministry's release.

Comments and profiles hold personal data, so the Personal Information Protection Law and the revised Cybersecurity Law also apply. The simplest way to lower risk is to keep totals and drop fields that identify a person. Our screenshots remove nicknames and avatars. Whichever API you use, these duties sit with the party that uses the data.

Recent changes, October to November 2026

On October 15, 2026, Douyin's Double 11 festival began, and it runs to November 11, as 21st Century Business Herald reported. What it means: sale reviews pile up, and monitoring teams search more. So the search price gap grows on your bill.

On November 2, 2026, our search for "air fryer" in Chinese returned 107 videos. Eleven of them were posted after October 26. A winter recipe from October 26, 2026 had 190,967 likes when we fetched it. Two recipes came on October 27, 2026, and a Double 11 buying guide came on October 29, 2026. Fish and chicken-wing recipes came on October 30, 2026. A food clip with 11,679 likes came on October 31, 2026, and three more videos came on November 1, 2026.

These 11 videos sit on both pages, not only at the top. What it means: the results for one keyword change within a week. To miss nothing, search again each day and read page two. That is why search is the largest line on a monitoring bill.

From November 1 to 2, 2026, TikHub's price list grew from 1,470 to 1,472 rows. Our douyin/search moved to $0.008333 per page on October 28 and gained paging. What it means: both price lists change, so check both free catalogs before you commit.

Limits: where these conclusions do not hold

First, we made no TikHub calls. TikHub numbers are list prices times its public page sizes, so real pages can differ. If its chart accepts 50 rows per call, the chart gap falls from 5.7 to 1.1 times. Second, we matched jobs by name and purpose, and the fields differ. Compare fields before you switch.

Third, our sample is small: one keyword, one video, one account. It shows billing rules and ranges, not long-term averages. Fourth, the monthly bill is one assumed job, and a job that only tracks comments and profiles differs by only 1.35 to 1.8 times. Fifth, at very high volume on discounted endpoints, TikHub can cost less.

Getting started: check the numbers yourself

Step 1: read both free catalogs. You do not need a key.

bash
# TikHub public price list (no key): the Douyin search line
curl -s https://api.tikhub.io/api/v1/tikhub/user/get_all_endpoints_info \
  | jq '[.data[] | select(.endpoint_uri | test("/douyin/search/"))] | map({endpoint_uri, endpoint_cost, allow_discount})'

# EveryInfra capability catalog (no key): Douyin prices and paging
curl -s "https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=douyin" \
  | jq '.capabilities[] | {action, price_usd, rows_per_unit, max_limit, page_token: .pagination.page_token}'

Step 2: claim the trial credit in the console and create a key. Then make one call with your own keyword, and read count and billing.charged_usd. For the next page, send next_page_token back without changes. The keyword below is the air fryer term from test 1, as JSON escapes.

bash
curl -s https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $EVERYINFRA_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"platform":"douyin","action":"search","params":{"keyword":"\u7a7a\u6c14\u70b8\u9505","limit":50,"page_token":""}}' \
  | jq '{count, next: .next_page_token, charged: .billing.charged_usd}'

Step 3: add our remote MCP server to an AI tool such as Claude or Cursor. At 00:25 SGT on November 2, tools/list returned 12 tools. One everyinfra_call_api call for the Douyin seeding chart returned 20 rows for $0.000556, the same as a direct call. See the MCP server page and the Model Context Protocol site.

json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "everyinfra": {
      "url": "https://api.everyinfra.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

The trial credit on each side buys very different amounts of Douyin data. The table uses the list prices above.

Trial creditBase-price callsDouyin search
TikHub: $0.05 after email checkAbout 50 calls at $0.001, on rows that accept free credit0 search-line calls, except user search V2
EveryInfra: $1 for a GitHub starAbout 1,798 calls at $0.000556About 120 search pages

All Douyin capabilities are on the Douyin API page. The same method works for TikTok and RedNote. The data market lists every capability, and the pricing page lists the plans. For a full Douyin comments workflow, read the Douyin comments to JSON guide.

FAQ

These questions come from Google autocomplete suggestions that we read on November 2, 2026. Each answer names its source.

Does Douyin have an official API?

Yes, but it is narrow (autocomplete: "douyin api key"). The Douyin Open Platform opens about 200 APIs. Its data capabilities need consent from a signed-in user and read only that user's own data. For public search results, other people's comments, charts or Xingtu data, you need a third-party API or your own code.

Is there a Douyin API in Python?

Yes (autocomplete: "douyin api python"). TikHub ships a Python SDK on PyPI as tikhub. Our API is plain HTTPS and JSON, so the requests library is enough. The open-source Douyin_TikTok_Download_API is also in Python, but you host it yourself.

Can I use the Douyin API projects on GitHub directly?

Yes, but you must host and maintain them (autocomplete: "douyin api github"). The most-starred project uses Apache-2.0 and covers videos, users, comments and live data. When Douyin changes its API, your code must change too. For a daily batch job, a per-call API saves staff time.

How do I get a TikHub API key, and is there free credit?

Sign up and verify your email. Then create keys in the console (autocomplete: "tikhub api key"). Email verification adds $0.05 of credit, per its FAQ. Only 217 of 413 Douyin rows and 1 of 30 search-line endpoints accept it. With us, a GitHub star gives $1 for 24 hours on all 37 Douyin capabilities.

Is there a free Douyin API alternative?

There is no free public-data API for long-term batch use (autocomplete: "douyin api alternative free"). The official platform reads only consenting users' data, and open source costs servers and staff. TikHub and EveryInfra offer trial credit only. Our $1 is enough to repeat the six live tests in this article.

Is there a Douyin shop API?

TikHub's FAQ says it has no Douyin shop endpoints, only TikTok Shop (autocomplete: "douyin shop api"). Our catalog has douyin/product_search, douyin/product_detail and douyin/live_product_search. The first two cost $0.013333 per call, and the third costs $0.000556. We did not test them here.

Is there a Douyin live API?

For live data, TikHub has more than we do (autocomplete: "douyin live api"). It covers live rooms, gifts and replays. We have live product search, but no real-time chat or gift stream.
