ScraperAPI
ScraperAPI is a web scraping API. Its home page says you can collect data from any public website without worrying about proxies, browsers or CAPTCHAs. The site says more than 10,000 companies use it. New users get a 7-day trial with 5,000 API credits and no credit card.
What ScraperAPI offers
Products and plan prices are taken from the product and pricing pages on the ScraperAPI website, read on October 24, 2026. Annual billing is discounted, and the pricing page sets how credits are counted.
| ScraperAPI product | How ScraperAPI describes it | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Scraping API | Add parameters to a request to turn on JavaScript rendering, pick a country or use premium residential proxies. It retries automatically, with unlimited bandwidth | Scrape any public page and parse it yourself |
| Structured data endpoints | Ready-made JSON endpoints for popular sites such as Amazon, Google and Walmart, with no URLs to build | Retail price tracking and search rank monitoring |
| Async scraper | Submit jobs in bulk. The system retries until they succeed and sends results to your webhook | Large batches where success rate matters most |
| DataPipeline | The site says it automates data collection without writing code | Scheduled collection by non-engineers |
| Pricing | Hobby $49 a month for 100,000 credits, Startup $149 for 1,000,000, Business $299 for 3,000,000, Scaling $475 for 5,000,000. Higher tiers are Professional $975, Advanced $1,975 and custom Enterprise. Annual billing is 10% off | Pick a tier by credits and concurrent threads |
The pricing page says every plan includes JavaScript rendering, rotating proxy pools, CAPTCHA and anti-bot handling, automatic retries and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Geotargeting is limited to the US and EU on Hobby and Startup, and global from Business. Documentation is at docs.scraperapi.com.
Who it is for
- Developers and data teams. A few parameters fetch pages that need rendering, and they build no proxy or browser setup.
- E-commerce and price intelligence teams. The structured endpoints cover Amazon and Walmart products and search, plus Google search, shopping, news and jobs.
- SEO agencies and market research firms. The site lists solutions written for these industries.
- Teams with large job volumes. The async service takes many jobs at once and retries them as needed.
Monitoring company reputation: review platforms through EveryInfra, company pages through ScraperAPI
Employer brand and customer experience teams often run the same kind of monitor. What do customers say about us? What do employees and candidates say? And what does the company itself publish? The first two live on public review platforms; the third lives on company sites, blogs and careers pages.
- Customer reviews. The EveryInfra Trustpilot reviews endpoint returns the rating, date and text of each review from the company page.
- Employee and candidate reviews. The Glassdoor company reviews and interviews and Indeed company reviews endpoints give ratings from current and former staff and interview feedback from candidates.
- The company's own pages. Competitors' press releases, blogs and careers pages all differ. Submit those URLs in bulk with the ScraperAPI async scraper; it keeps retrying and pushes results to your webhook, and your own parser picks out titles and dates.
- Dashboard. Each month, place customer rating, employee rating and the number of new jobs and news posts on the company site side by side, and compare your reputation trend with competitors.
On the EveryInfra side, failed and empty calls are free. ScraperAPI is priced in credits, and rendering or premium proxies use more of them. Keep the two costs in separate lines.
