- Returns: list, one page of up to 20 per call; the number of rows varies from page to page and a short page is not the end (limit is ignored; pass the top-level next_page_token from the response as page_token for the next page; no next_page_token means the end)
- Pagination: pass next_page_token back as page_token for the next page, other params unchanged; one call per page, tokens last 24 hours

## Parameters

| name | type | required | default | description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| url | not declared | yes | not declared | The TikTok video the comment is on: https://www.tiktok.com/@<user>/video/<ID>, or the video ID. |
| comment_id | not declared | yes | not declared | The numeric ID of the top-level comment whose replies `comment_replies` reads: the `id` of a `comments` row. |
| page_token | not declared | no | not declared | Page token for TikTok list actions such as `hashtag_search`, `user_search`, `following` and `shop_products`. Leave it out for the first page, then pass back the previous response's `next_page_token` exactly as received, with the other parameters unchanged; the last page has none. |

## Response fields (items in `results`)

| field | meaning |
|---|---|
| id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
| text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
| like_count | Likes. null means the platform or this capability does not disclose it; it is not 0. |
| author_username | Author's username (@handle), usually usable in URLs. |
| author_name | Author's display name. |
| author_id | Author's unique ID on the platform. |
| author_url | Link to the author's profile on the platform. |
| author_avatar_url | platform-native meaning |
| liked_by_author | platform-native meaning |
| is_reply | platform-native meaning |
| reply_to_id | platform-native meaning |
| reply_to_reply_id | platform-native meaning |
| language | Content language code (for example zh, en) as judged by the platform; it can be wrong. |
| posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
| video_id | platform-native meaning |
| next_page_token | platform-native meaning |
| platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
