Who it is for

Dataiku describes enterprises that want to put AI into business processes:

  • Data science and machine learning teams who prepare data, build models and deploy them in one platform.
  • Business experts who build AI inside the guardrails IT sets, without waiting for an engineering slot.
  • Teams in charge of AI governance who want one view of the agents, costs and risks across the company.

A salary and hiring demand monitor in Dataiku

HR analytics teams and recruiting consultancies keep asking what a role pays in a given city and which companies are hiring more. A Dataiku Flow keeps collection, cleaning, modeling and scheduling in one place, so it works well as a project that refreshes itself every week.

  • Collect. Create a Python recipe that calls the EveryInfra Indeed jobs and salaries, Glassdoor salaries and interview reviews and LinkedIn jobs endpoints by job title and city. Shape the results with Pandas and write them to an output dataset. Dataiku's documentation says Python recipes can read and write datasets.
  • Keep the key safe. Store the EveryInfra API key in a Dataiku credential or project variable, and reference only the variable name in code.
  • Clean and merge. Use visual recipes to normalize pay units (hourly, monthly, yearly) and map the three sources' job titles to one role taxonomy.
  • Schedule. Add a weekly time-based trigger to a Scenario. Dataiku documents time-based triggers that run monthly, weekly, daily or hourly (triggers).
  • Deliver. Estimate a pay band per role and city with a model, and build a dashboard that flags the companies with the fastest growth in open roles.

A job search can span many pages, so use async mode and let the Python recipe poll the job ID. Cities with no results are not charged.

Run one week of data on a Dataiku trial

The Dataiku 14-day free trial is a hosted cloud instance with no credit card, which is enough to run one week of hiring data end to end. Product terms and deployment options are on the Dataiku website; this page only restates its public information.
