  • Pricing is pay as you go with no subscription. The minimum top-up is $50, and the balance does not expire. New accounts get $1 in trial credit, and a sandbox is available.
  • Some endpoints offer a Standard mode, which is queued and cheaper, and a Live mode, which returns at once and costs more.
  • The dashboard lets you set daily spending limits. It accepts cards, PayPal and Amazon Pay. DataForSEO says support runs 24/7.
  • More APIs cover backlinks, domain analytics, app data, reviews and AI search visibility. See the API overview and the developer docs.

Who it is for

  • SEO tool developers who build rank trackers, keyword research tools or backlink checkers and need a steady data source.
  • Marketing teams and agencies who check keyword volume, competitors and search results in bulk.
  • E-commerce sellers and analysts who look at products, prices and keywords on Amazon and Google Shopping.
  • Local business and reputation teams who read business listings and reviews from many sources.

Planning Chinese content: Baidu results through DataForSEO, in-app search through EveryInfra

For content teams in China, search engines are not the only way in. Many users search directly inside Xiaohongshu, Zhihu and Douyin. To judge whether a keyword is worth the effort, look at both kinds of results.

  • Search engine. The DataForSEO SERP API supports Baidu. Pull the first pages for a keyword by location and language, and see whether the top spots go to brand sites, encyclopedias, news or Q&A sites. Teams working on overseas markets can query Google through the same API.
  • Inside the platforms. Search the same keyword with the EveryInfra Xiaohongshu search, Zhihu search and Douyin search endpoints, and collect likes, saves, comments and publish date for the top 20 notes, answers or videos.
  • Choose where to publish. If Q&A sites lead on Baidu and Zhihu answers get many upvotes, write long Zhihu answers first. If brand sites fill Baidu but Xiaohongshu notes are lively, put the budget into Xiaohongshu seeding.
  • Recheck monthly. Run Baidu results in DataForSEO's standard mode (queued and cheaper), and rerun the same keywords on EveryInfra to see whether new accounts and topics now lead inside the apps.

Both are prepaid: DataForSEO has a $50 minimum top-up and balances do not expire; EveryInfra uses one USD balance, and failed or empty calls are free. EveryInfra also has its own web search tools (EverySearch), but for keyword metrics at scale, backlinks and site audits, DataForSEO's APIs are the more complete set.

Start with DataForSEO's trial credit

New DataForSEO accounts get $1 of trial credit and a sandbox. Get the Baidu SERP request right in the sandbox first, then top up and run real keywords; the console lets you set a daily spending cap. If a price here differs from dataforseo.com, the site is right; we copied these figures on October 24.
